Travis has helped the team to be consistently ranked in the top 1% nationally over the last several years by focusing on relationships and ensuring that communications throughout the entire mortgage experience is top-notch. That means ensuring all clients—and everyone involved—know what’s going on and feel confident before, during, and after the entire process. Travis and his wife, Kayla, have two young children—a daughter and a son. When his hands aren’t full with loans or kids, he enjoys playing golf, exploring the outdoors, and considers himself a wannabe gearhead.

Courtney Harvey, Production Partner, Loan Originator

Courtney Harvey is a loan originator and production partner for the Ben Chenault Team. Her main role? Making Travis and Ben look good—and she’s been crushing it since 2009. Known as the “Doctor Detail” on the team, Courtney helps clients navigate the loan process and choose the best options, whether they’re buying their first home or their tenth.
When she’s not focused on numbers or making sure every client’s question is answered, Courtney loves spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and enjoying all things outdoors.

Ben Chenault, Certified Mortgage Planner/SVP Area Manager

Ben Chenault is a proud native of Birmingham, Alabama, and has been in the mortgage business for over 30 years. Ben wears multiple hats as both a Loan Originator and Manager of multiple mortgage operations throughout the state. Ben’s offices have been recognized for top production in the state and voted among the best places to work. This has led to his involvement in over 10,000 mortgage and real estate transactions—an amazing feat, considering he’s just now celebrating his 39th birthday… again! Ben loves pouring into clients, as well as other loan originators who share the same values and want to grow their business with similar principles. He and his wife, Kim, have two beautiful daughters—plus one very spoiled golden doodle. In addition to work and family time, they enjoy golf, water sports, and being involved with JH Ranch and Church of the Highlands.
